Inventory Specialist

Elite Contracting Group is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our Virginia Beach, Virginia location.  Elite Contracting Group is one of Virginia's fastest-growing full-service security and resiliency solution integration companies.

Responsibilities:

• Track incoming and outgoing products
• Track and research warranty and non-warranty repairs
• Load and unload deliveries
• Manage and maintain an inventory system
• Inspect shipments to account for items and identify damaged or mis-ordered inventory
• Maintain, clean, and organize the warehouse and assigned areas
• Assist in oversight of facility maintenance
• Pick-up and deliver materials as needed
• Operate forklift as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience utilizing inventory programs/databases to track inventory
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organization skills
• Proven ability to follow through and complete tasks with minimum supervision
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently
• Experience operating a forklift; current certification preferred
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
