Inventory Specialist

Description

We are looking for a full-time Inventory Specialist to join our team! The schedule for this position is 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

You must possess a great work ethic, time management, and mechanical skills. This a CAREER offer, not a temporary job.  

In this role, you will work side-by-side with our Department Leaders to ensure our crew has the needed equipment, materials, and vehicles ready to serve our customers. If you believe you have what it takes to excel in this role, we want to hear from you!

Essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Track orders and investigate problems.
• Purchase all inventory including project materials and supplies.
• Manage the inventory process including purchase planning, order tracking, order fulfillment and internal inventory databases.
• Prevent waste, shrink and loss through proper record keeping and projections.
• Reconcile vendor accounts including price negotiations.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse & Fleet Maintenance Specialist to ensure warehouse and equipment maintenance is fulfilled.
• Perform shop closing procedures.
• Promote Company values and customer care.
• Contribute to the team-based environment.
• Participate in periodic company and team meetings.
• Report to work on time and in company attire.
• Drive company vehicle safely and in accordance with traffic laws.
• Comply with all safety procedures.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Knowledge of computer use for inventory tracking and email.
• Self-motivation and time management skills

Physical Requirements

Amount of each day spent: Sitting 60%, Standing 20%, Walking 20%

Employee works: Inside 80%, Outside 20%

While performing the job, team member will be required to:

• Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs.
• Push up to 50 lbs.
• Pull up to 50 lbs.
• Kneel, Squat, Climb Ladders/Stairs, crouch
• Ability to verbally communicate, hear, and specific vision abilities including close vision, distant vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
