The Role: Impact & Responsibilities
As our Inventory Control Specialist, you aren't just counting boxes; you are the backbone of our service delivery. You ensure our teams have the fiber equipment they need to connect our neighbors.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Perpetual Accuracy: Oversee the lifecycle of material, equipment, and supplies, ensuring our database matches reality through rigorous physical counts and reconciliation.
Strategic Problem Solving: Investigate discrepancies with a "detective’s mindset," identifying root causes and reporting shortages before they impact our customers.
Operational Excellence: Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; label shelves for maximum efficiency; and manage vendor relationships with professionalism and poise.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a teammate who takes ownership of their work, works hard without needing constant supervision, and understands how their accuracy affects the entire team's success.
Experience: 4–6 years of inventory, warehouse, or clerical experience.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills: Strong computer proficiency, excellent oral/written communication, and the ability to handle complex problems with a calm, results-oriented attitude.
Physical Ability: Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing active warehouse duties (kneeling, stooping, reaching).
