SALARY RANGE: $18-$23/Hour

JOB SUMMARY:
The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the management of inventory as it relates to picking products, replenishing, and requisitioning including but not limited to medical, dental, optical, pharmaceutical, office, and facility supplies. They will be responsible for accurately counting consumable medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, instruments, or other clinic assets as directed. They will also be responsible for identifying any discrepancies or losses at the end of operations.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and manage stock rotation procedures;
- Restock supplies and rotate inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed;
- Distribute medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas;
- Label bins and handles requests to change;
- Maintaining inventory storage space in the warehouse/storage room;
- Conducts bi-annual inventory count to determine asset value and additional inventories as requested;
- Responsible for planning warehouse/storage room space usage;
- Placing inventory restock orders;
- Identify excess inventory, returning stock, and processing credits; notify supervisor of outdates of slow-moving inventory;
- Ability to lift up-to50 lbs., on occasion;
- Work with management if products are missing or damaged within a shipment;
- Travel between offices to conduct quarterly inventory count to monitor inventory supply, ensure consistency in materials stocked, and determine asset value and additional inventories as requested;
- Perform and maintain records of inventory count and pricing semiannually of all locations including but not limited to medical, dental, optical, pharmaceutical, fixed assets, etc;
- Maintain and coordinate equipment inventory, trainings, repair as needed, annual inspections and calibrations, and an activity log for each equipment;
- Responsible for the transfer of vaccines and supplies for all locations;
- Track all incoming and outgoing packages and maintain supplies in an organized manner
- Track, organize, and unload shipments and deliveries on-site;
- Coordinate the transport and delivery of supplies if dividing them between various office locations;
- Meet with members of management and facilities teams to communicate timely updates
- Offer support in compliance with OSHA & HIPAA policies;
- Check current supply stock to ensure materials are not expired;
- Maintain ordering system and various spreadsheets to ensure effective cataloging, record-keeping, and transfer of information between necessary team members;
- Act as a liaison for departments with questions about supply product changes and resolve inventory issues;
- Verify inventory count and condition at the time of delivery and match deliveries to purchase orders/invoices;
- Log supplies as received or canceled in purchasing software;
- Deliver invoices to Procurement Coordinator;
- Maintain an equipment inventory and map for equipment location;
- Responsible for equipment maintenance activities, including but not limited to ongoing upkeep, inspection, overseeing the completion of repairs, and clinical accuracy checks as well as procurement of replacement parts for the clinic;
- Participate in the annual financial audit if needed;
- Attend on-site/off-site community engagement activities, clinic events, and/or training as needed;
