Investigation Legal Assistant

The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, headquartered in Durham, NC, represents plaintiffs who have been injured as a result of auto accidents, workers’ compensation, as well as injuries resulting from the negligence of others.  Our firm is rapidly growing, and we are looking to add an Investigator Legal Assistant to join our team.

We are seeking an individual to join our investigative team in investigating major injury cases. This individual will be specially trained to find insurance policies related to personal injury and wrongful death cases. This individual will also be trained to investigate all sources of possible insurance coverage, opening insurance claims, and communicating with adjusters. Other tasks will include factual investigations, interviewing witnesses and law enforcement officers, searching for surveillance, and preserving evidence.

• This position requires one full week of in-person onboarding in Durham, NC, held Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Onboarding will take place in our training room offering a collaborative and engaging start to your journey with us. Remote onboarding will not be allowed.
