Overview:
KENTECH Consulting Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Investigative Assistant to support the operations of the SSA’s Cooperative Disability Investigations (CDI) Unit in Dallas, TX. This role is essential in supporting the administrative and case management needs of the unit, including research, data entry, and inter-agency coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist investigators in preparing reports, conducting research, and organizing case files
- Perform database queries and assist with internal and SSA reporting needs
- Track cases and maintain logs in accordance with SSA guidelines
- Handle office administration such as timesheets, vehicle logs, supply management
- Act as a liaison between SSA staff, KENTECH, and external law enforcement agencies
- Maintain compliance with the Privacy Act of 1974 and SSA confidentiality standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior administrative or investigative support experience in a law enforcement, government, or legal setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database navigation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must pass SSA/OIG background checks and confidentiality training
Support Provided:
- Training on SSA reporting protocols and systems
- All tools and office resources provided by KENTECH
