Job Summary The Investment Operations Associate is a full-time position responsible for providing all aspects of investment sales support. Our ideal candidate has extensive experience and a comprehensive knowledge of investments. They have the ability to work with a team of professionals as well as interact with current and future clients on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities Support •Handle case notes, processing investment correspondence and implementation •Open new accounts, money movement and other investment related support for clients •Ensuring NMIS and insurance compliance requirements are implemented and followed
Proposal and Case Preparation •Gathering information for financial advisor’s meeting with clients and prospects •Preparing reports and documents for client meetingsProcessing Accounts •Preparing and processing all paperwork needed for investment accounts •Receiving and monitoring incoming monies •Processing proposal amendments in Envestnet •Monitoring Envestnet/Netx360 for alerts and upcoming annual reviews
Client Service •Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth onboarding and consistent communication throughout the relationship •Corresponding with clients to handle service issues •Maintaining daily tickler system for account follow-ups and service requirements •Running performance reports in Envestnet, Morningstar and NMCIR
Minimum Job Requirements •Financial industry experience required •Series 6 and/or 7 licensing required •Obtain Life and Health license within 90 days of employment •Strong analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with others •Ability to proactively identify what needs to be accomplished and act •Ability to work both independently and on a team •Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment •Committed to professional growth and development, independent learner that seeks knowledge
