Position Description
The Investment Principal on the Client CIO team located in Dallas will lead teams that manage multi-asset class client portfolios. As a growing firm, we seek new team members who are dynamic and comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Client Portfolio Management (Primary Focus): The Investment Principal will serve as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for their clients, with end-to-end management responsibility for the investment process of client portfolios. Key responsibilities include:
Business Development (Primary Focus): As a key member of Dallas-based team, the Investment Principal will be expected to help drive the Firm’s business development efforts in Texas. This will primarily include managing pitch processes for Texas-based prospective clients (e.g., performing preliminary research on investments within the prospective client’s existing portfolio, developing a proposed asset allocation and manager lineup for the prospective client, helping compose pitch decks and manage RFP processes, presenting in pitch meetings, responding to prospective client questions, managing communications with financial intermediaries). This could also include helping plan Texas-based brand building initiatives (e.g., client dinners). The Investment Principal will also be expected to participate in local networking activities, such as conferences, networking dinners, one-on-one meetings networking, etc. to help build the firm’s presence and brand in Texas.
Other (Secondary Focus): As with all other members of the Firm, the Investment Principal will take on other activities and projects that contribute to the success of the business. Examples may include: recruiting and training junior members of the team, working with our internal DEI council and business associates, and/or helping manage staffing for the Dallas team. Key responsibilities will be regularly assessed and are subject to change from time to time based on the needs of the business. The individual may be required to work overtime as needed.

The base salary is one element of our competitive compensation package. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
