Position Overview:

The Invoice Processing Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices for our clients. This individual will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, and processing invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures

- Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner

- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues

- Maintain accurate records of all invoice transactions and ensure proper documentation is maintained

- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding balances

- Assist with month-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations

- Provide support to the accounts payable team as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
