IP Litigation Associate Attorney

Pay: $225,000.00 - $435,000.00 per year

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at one of our clients offices in Boston, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., New York, or Silicon Valley.

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have 34 years of intellectual property litigation experience, with specific exposure to patent and trade secrets disputes.

Job Description

• Join a nationally recognized Intellectual Property Litigation group
• Handle high-stakes patent, trade secret, and commercial disputes across technology, software, digital media, life sciences, and semiconductor industries
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery in complex litigation matters
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials
• Work closely with clients, technical experts, and colleagues across offices
• Opportunity to be involved in inter partes review (IPR) proceedings and USPTO practice

Qualifications

• 34 years of intellectual property litigation experience
• Specific experience with patent and trade secrets disputes
• Experience with inter partes review petitions highly desirable
• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field strongly preferred
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant bar admission (or ability to obtain promptly) required
• USPTO admission preferred
