The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced and driven Mid-Level Technology Transactions Associate to join one of our esteemed clients. This role offers the chance to make an impact by handling complex and innovative technology transactions for some of the most prominent companies in technology, digital media, consumer tech, and life sciences both in the U.S. and internationally. Your skills and expertise will be key in driving success and shaping the future of the technology transactions practice.

What You'll Do

• Lead with Purpose: Oversee complex commercial, technology, IP licensing, and digital media transactions to ensure successful outcomes.
• Analyze and Innovate: Utilize your expertise to advise on technology-driven M&A transactions, corporate matters, and content licensing, with a focus on cutting-edge sectors.
• Collaborate for Success: Work cross-functionally with the Corporate, IP, and Litigation Groups to align goals, foster innovation, and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Deliver Excellence: Apply your expertise in technology transactions to elevate performance and achieve measurable results.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: At least 3 years in technology transactions, IP licensing, M&A, or corporate transactions, with a proven track record of success.
• Education: J.D. from an accredited law school, with superior academic credentials.
• Skills: Proficiency in oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with clients and teams.
• Certifications: Must be barred in the state of the office you are applying to, or eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam.
• Mindset: A results-driven, collaborative, and adaptable approach to work.

Your Skillset

• Technology Transactions Expertise: Proven expertise in commercial, technology, and IP licensing transactions, as well as content distribution and media licensing.
• Corporate Transactions: Experience working on the technology aspects of M&A and corporate transactions.
• Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with teams, including Corporate, IP, and Litigation groups.
• Client-Facing: Exceptional skills in team leadership, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
