Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Iron Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, with a focus on ironwork. The Iron Fabricator will be responsible for creating high-quality iron products, and other custom ironwork. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The skill level for this role may be assigned to oversee, mentor or train a team or individual.

Responsibilities:

- Fabricate high-quality iron products, including gates, railings, fences, and other custom ironwork

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including welding machines, grinders, and saws

- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication, with a focus on ironwork

- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and quality

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
