The irrigation foreman is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems as well as for managing employees, projects, and resources. The right applicant will also be responsible for coordination of job activities and materials and will be able to create estimates and proposals for new work. We provide the proper tools and equipment needed to the job. Our irrigation foreman can expect to make between $50,000-$60,000 per year.

Qualifications (Only candidates who have the following requirements will be considered for the role of Irrigation Foreman)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an irrigation technician.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an irrigation foreman.
- Minimum 5 years' industry related (agricultural) experience
- Must speak English (Spanish is a plus).
Irrigation Foreman Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and fix irrigation systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and use a wire tracker.
- Perform wet checks and make sure the irrigation systems and different zones are up and running.
- Install, repair, and replace valves, irrigation pumps, timers, solenoids, pressure switches, main lines, laterals, sleeves, controllers, timers, rain sensors, etc.
- Install and maintain controllers, timers, and rain sensors.
- Delegating tasks, overseeing all irrigation projects and supervising the crew members to ensure that projects are completed in the most efficient way.
- Guaranteeing all crew members always obey health and safety regulations.
- Must have working knowledge of South Florida landscaping and the water needs of plant material, as well as recognizing stressed landscapes as a result of water deficiencies.
- Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: crouching, manual dexterity, hearing, kneeling, mental acuity, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, standing, stooping, talking, visual acuity, and walking.
- Ability to inspect properties and generate reports to ensure the proper communication of service needs as well as creating estimates and selling of irrigation services.
- Must possess superb communication skills and must speak and present themselves professionally.
Irrigation Foreman Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Relevant experience and references.
- Able to lift 50 LBS on a regular basis.
- Be able to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
