Irrigation Technician (Installation/New Build Operations)

For more than 40 years, Artistree Landscape & Design, a Sunrise Landscape company, is a commercial landscape maintenance, design and installation company serving Florida with a commitment to service excellence. We have an opportunity for an Irrigation Technician to join our Installation (new build construction) team in our Venice, FL office. This role is positioned to have a big impact in our growing business both organically and through acquisitions. This role will provide the upfront installation of irrigation clients’ needs. This team member will report to the Irrigation Manager of a branch and/or region.

The role will be based in Venice, FL in the local branch office.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver and install exceptional irrigation services for a portfolio of commercial landscape customers.
• Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems.
• Adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions.
• Operate hand tools and power tools for system maintenance.
• Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure proper irrigation for plants and lawns.
• Build new irrigation systems as needed.
• Drive crews to and from new client building projects.

What You Bring To Us:

• Minimum of 3 years’ of professional lawn irrigation experience.
• Valid driver’s license required for at least 3 years (U.S. based license)
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Knowledge of different types of sprinkler heads and their applications.
• Proficiency in using irrigation system control systems.
• Basic electrical and plumbing skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Additional Information:

• Work will primarily be done outside, depending on task and in southern climates.
• Division works Monday – Friday with the possibility of work on Saturdays depending on season and the workload.
• Salary will commensurate with experience but will range from $18.00-$20.00 per hour.
