Irrigation Parts Tech

What will you do?

You will be part of the parts team. You will be responsible for selling parts to our irrigation customers primarily and helping with other counter sales.  

What are your job responsibilities?

• You will be responsible for selling irrigation parts and maintaining inventory levels, re-ordering and re-stocking parts, maintaining order and cleanliness in Irrigation Parts Dept.
  


• You will work closely with the Parts Manager to maintain proper stocking levels, inventory aging, pre-season stocking orders.


• Work closely with Irrigation team including techs & subcontract crews to track parts leaving parts department and ensure their parts needs are met.
  


• File warranty claims with vendors as needed.
  


• Create, Edit, and Update Irrigation Sprinkler Charts as customers need them.


• You will be also back-fill other parts positions as required. e.g. powersports, feeds, farm supplies.  This involves having a basic knowledge of the products we sell and being able to help customers with other sales besides irrigation parts. 


• You will make sure every customer walks away satisfied — that means listening to what they actually need, following through, and going the extra step to get them the right part, even if it takes a little extra digging.
   
  

What kind of experience do I need?

• Some irrigation/parts experience would be helpful. e.g. being familiar with the components of irrigation systems and know their theory of operation, as well as understanding parts inventory, sales, and stocking.
  


• If no experience with irrigation, we can train you.


• Must have a valid Driver's License.


• A positive attitude and genuine willingness to help customers goes a long way here — we're looking for someone who takes pride in making sure the customer leaves happy, not just someone who can find a part number.
