Job Description - Irrigation Tech - Landscaping

-Do you have experience on a landscaping team as an Irrigation Technician?
-Have you set up irrigation systems including manifolds and up to 2” PVC pipe?
-Do you live within an area 40 minutes of Sebastopol, CA?

Professional Tree Care and their sister company, Custom Landscapes, is hiring a Irrigation Tech to work on jobs in the North Bay. The initial work will focus on landscaping basics and will provide you the opportunity to learn from a highly experienced landscaping crew.

REQUIREMENTS
-Hardworking
-Irrigation/sprinkler experience including installation and repair of residential and small commercial systems including manifolds, shut-off valves, backflow preventers, zone control valves, lateral lines, sprinkler heads, electronic controllers, and low-voltage wiring.
-Physically fit and able to lift +/- 75 pounds or more
-Able to work outdoors for up to 8 hours per day in inclement weather year-round, meaning hot in summer and cold in winter; maybe even raining.
-MUST have a current and CLEAN and CURRENT California driver’s license. *Clean = no points or recent tickets.
-Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Bonus points for:
-Bilingual English/Spanish
-LANDSCAPING experience
-Hardscaping experience a plus
-Any additional experience building rock or brick walls, walkways, retaining walls, etc.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
-$24.00 to $34.00 per hour based on experience. (Higher end is for an Irrigation Technician, Landscape Supervisor who has run a big crew of landscape laborers.)

-After 90-days of employment, new employees are eligible for:

This team works on large-scale landscape and irrigation projects throughout Sonoma County. Each morning, you’ll meet on the job site. The location will change week by week.
