Irrigation Technician

This Irrigation Technician will always have a positive attitude to team members and clients. This Irrigation Technician is expected to install, maintain, repair, etc. irrigation systems for our clients. Safety is a top priority and is expected to follow all safety procedures and protocols. This Irrigation Technician must be able to operate all equipment necessary to perform job tasks and/or be willing to learn from others. Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license. A CDL is preferred.

Qualifications/Job Duties:

• Mandatory valid drivers license with clean driving record


• CDL preferred


• Certified Irrigation Technician Certification


• Backflow Prevention Certification 


• Minimum 2 years of experience is preferred
  


• Must be dependable


• Must show consistent professionalism, good judgement, and safety precautions
  


• Maintain irrigation accounts throughout seasonal life cycle


• Layout and install new irrigation systems


• Troubleshoots irrigation systems to determine repair needs


• Install, replace, and repair sprinkler heads and valve boxes


• Tests irrigation systems for proper functioning


• Activate and deactivate irrigation systems according to seasonal priorities


• Submit required forms for accurate billing information for all billable work performed daily


• Ensure proper use and care of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned


• Math used to calculate irrigation system requirements


• Demonstrates excellent communication and follow-up skills


• Ability to multitask on multiple ongoing projects


• Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems


• Highly organized and efficient
  


• Able to work in all kinds of weather conditions

Job Type: Full Time/Seasonal – weekdays, occasional weekends

Pay: Starting wage $20+/Hour, negotiable based on experience
