Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate elementary school teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a positive learning environment where students can develop their academic, social, and emotional skills. The elementary teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure each child's needs are met.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards.
Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Supervision: Occasionally accompany students during lunch, recess, and other activities (field trip supervision required).
Assessment: Evaluate student progress through ongoing assessments and formal evaluations.
Individualized Instruction: Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress and behavior.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance the overall educational program.
Professional Development:
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
School Community Engagement: Engage actively in school events, meetings, and committees to support the school community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- State teaching certification/license preferred
- Previous experience working with elementary-age students preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and educational theories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Passion for education and commitment to student success.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Mobility within the classroom to interact with students and access materials.
- Ability to lift and carry teaching materials and equipment as needed.
Working Conditions:
- Elementary school classroom environment.
- Regular hours during the school day, with occasional evenings or weekends for events or meetings.

All our teachers are required to continue their education in childcare through online trainings. This will be discussed at the time of the interview. We also offer a nearly FREE Child Development Associate Certificate to any of employees. Any staff member we employ who is interested in furthering their education in Child focused degrees or certificates we will accommodate to, unless it interferes with the centers needs.
