The IT Admin Support Specialist provides front-line technical and administrative support across the Credit Union. This position assists employees with technology needs, coordinates vendor relationships, manages office and technology inventory, supports projects, and helps maintain the Credit Union's website and digital presence.
This role is well suited for a service-minded professional who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and helping people work more effectively. Through responsive support, organization, and dependable follow-through, the IT Admin Support Specialist helps keep systems, operations, and employees running smoothly.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Key responsibilities include serving as the first contact for internal support, troubleshooting common hardware/software/connectivity issues, setting up workstations and user access, coordinating with technology vendors, maintaining ticket and asset documentation, supporting projects, and assisting with basic website/digital updates.

Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, hardware, and common software applications.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organization, time management, and follow-through.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
Service-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments and with external vendors.
Ability to handle confidential information and technology access with professionalism and integrity.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and website management tools such as WordPress.
Ability to learn new systems, technology platforms, and operational processes quickly.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Education
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Experience
One to two years of related experience in IT support, administration, project coordination, or a related environment preferred.
Experience providing customer, member, or employee-facing technical support preferred.
Experience coordinating vendors, maintaining technology inventory, or supporting projects preferred.
Preferred Certifications
CompTIA A+, Network+, or other entry-level information technology certification.
Microsoft 365 or related Microsoft certification.
Other relevant information technology, project coordination, or administrative certifications.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to utilize and view computer monitors for extended periods.
Must frequently use a keyboard and telephone.
Professional office environment with occasional travel to branch locations, meetings, training programs, or Credit Union events.
