IT Equipment Handler - Immediate Start

MCA is looking for a dedicated, friendly, respectful Warehouse Associate/Delivery Drive to join our amazing team! The Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver is responsible for receiving in all inbound equipment, staging orders for delivery, delivery orders to local MCA customers, light office maintenance and any other tasks as needed by MCA.

Job Description

As an Equipment Handler at Mike Collins and Associates, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our inventory management system. You will be responsible for receiving, distributing, and maintaining control over our equipment inventory to ensure we consistently meet customer demands and maintain a safe work environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Safely store merchandise in designated areas.
• Enter receipt information into the purchasing system database.
• Fulfill requisitions from sales locations by preparing, verifying, and shipping merchandise.
• Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of outgoing shipments.
• Conduct regular physical counts of equipment to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Report any discrepancies or shortages to management for resolution.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Comply with legal regulations related to the handling and storage of equipment.
• Participate in educational opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Accomplish the warehousing and organizational mission by completing related tasks as assigned.
• Be prepared to assist with deliveries as a backup driver when necessary.

Preferred Attributes, Skills, and Experience

• Prior experience in a warehouse or storage facility, especially in a similar role
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in documenting and reporting inventory-related information.
• Strong organizational skills to manage and locate inventory efficiently.
• Capacity to handle complex inventory management scenarios.
• Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Effective time management to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
• Willingness to identify and implement process improvements.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Understanding of inventory control principles and practices.
• Strong written communication skills for documentation and reporting.

Physical Requirements

Work is primarily physical labor/standing. Exertion and lifting of up to 50 pounds as necessary. Occasional crawling, kneeling, and squatting. Frequent use of computer and phone.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am – 5 pm.

Salary + Benefits:

Hourly rate starts at $16 an hour
