IT Event Support Technician

Description

SAIC is seeking an IT Event Support Technician located in Pearl City, Hawaii to support USINDOPACOM for the Software, Simulation, System Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate, DEVCOM Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC) to support Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for end to end life cycle development and execution, ensuring warfighter readiness and future capabilities are realized.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide customer IT support in the operation and maintenance of the virtual and physical infrastructure in deployed and on-premises computing environments

Responsible for providing operational support across a wide-range of virtualized Microsoft Windows, client systems, and Audio-Visual (AV) services

Provide support for a client base of Windows 10 and Office 2016/2019/Office 365 products across physical laptops/desktops and thin/zero clients

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s and nine (9)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree

Must be able to install, configure, troubleshoot Cisco and Aruba switches

Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPN software

Experience with Wireless controllers

Must be able to install, configure and troubleshoot ESXi, vSphere and Connection Server

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

Must have a current DoD IAT Level II or higher such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CySA+, CASP+, OR CISSP etc.)

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

Must have an Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

Must be a current US Citizen

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
