IT Helpdesk Technician - Fast Hire

Position Details:

Role type: 6 Month contract (opp to extedd)

Location: Baltimore, MD - Onsite

Pay: $22.00-$23.00/HR W2

Are you passionate about ensuring smooth operations of desktops and managing the lifecycle of technology resources? We're on the lookout for a skilled Desktop Technician to join our Asset Management Team and contribute to the seamless functioning of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the lifecycle of TRP devices, including research, packaging, quality assurance, and deployment preparation.
• Set up new users, configuring desktops, email accounts, LDAP accounts, and VPN accounts.
• Provide support to both local and remote employees for desktop issues, account problems, and access to internal services.
• Troubleshoot software issues on desktops/laptops and provide solutions.
• Availability for off-hours support when necessary.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with ServiceNow preferred.
• Strong Excel skills for tracking and inventory operations.
• Experience in inventory operations and attention to detail.
• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, computer engineering) required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and experience with desktop installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting both desktops and mobile devices.
