IT Infrastructure Manager

Our client, a licensed e-money institution regulated by the Bank of Lithuania, operates from Vilnius and offers services such as payment card issuing, e-commerce acquiring, and payment processing. They ensure full compliance with regulatory standards, payment scheme rules, and fraud prevention practices, supported by strong settlement and reporting tools.

As an innovative fintech company, they leverage open-source technologies to build secure, flexible, and cost-effective IT systems. To support their growing operations, they are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager to maintain and enhance their IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Strategy & Management – Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies that align with business objectives, with a strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and security.
• System & Network Administration – Manage Linux-based systems to ensure high availability, stability, and optimal performance.
• Security & Compliance – Enforce and uphold security policies in compliance with PCI-DSS, GDPR, and DORA standards.
• Virtualization & Cloud Technologies – Direct the deployment and administration of virtualization solutions (Proxmox VE, KVM, Docker) and cloud platforms as needed.
• Automation & Efficiency – Drive efficiency by automating infrastructure tasks using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity – Design and sustain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard against system disruptions.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration – Lead the IT infrastructure team and ensure seamless collaboration with security, development, and business units.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization – Employ monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana) to proactively detect and resolve system performance issues.
• Budget & Vendor Management – Oversee the IT infrastructure budget and manage vendor and service provider relationships effectively.

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management with a focus on Linux-based environments and open-source solutions
• Proven track record in managing complex IT environments, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability systems
• Linux & Open-Source Technologies – strong background in managing Debian-based and RPM-based distributions
• Networking & Security – in-depth knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, routing, and security best practices.
• Automation & DevOps – hands-on experience with infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python)
• Database Management – understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance optimization and backup strategies
• Compliance & Risk Management – aamiliarity with financial industry regulations and IT security frameworks
• Leadership & Communication – ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively across departments
