IT Integration Technician-Level 1 - Columbia Falls

IT Integration Technicians – Level 1 under Level 2 and Lead supervision will install IT-related equipment, hardware, radios, cables, connectors, follow processes and procedures, and read and follow CAD drawings.

Essential Functions / Responsibility:

• Read CAD and IT Engineering Cable Pull Sheet


• Rough in for cable pulls


• Cable pulls


• Install data racks.


• Build and install rack shelves and equipment.


• Terminate and test data, audio, and radio cables at data rack location.


• Basic soldering


• Install workstation faceplates and terminate cables.


• Install camera mounts per CAD.


• Assist in installing roof hardware, antennas, satellites, etc.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Knowledge Desired:

• Basic knowledge about computers and electronics such as multiband radios, A/V installation, soldering and simple configuration preferred, but not required.


• Understanding of Microsoft Suite.


• Ability to communicate effectively and be a productive and responsible team member.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to use manual and finger dexterity to operate equipment, tools or controls.


• Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and sit.


• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted. Anything heavier than 50 pounds will require two people to lift / carry.


• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors.


• Must have the ability to work from heights at ground floor up to 20’ from the ground on ladders or platforms of varying sizes.


• This position requires physical stamina necessary to work in awkward positions, standing up for long periods, bending, stooping, and lifting.

Working Environment:

• The work environment is a partially environmentally controlled indoor environment. Depending upon the time of year, temperatures can fluctuate between 60F and 100F but is typically around 70F. There are times when working outside will be required.


• The employee must have the ability to work from heights at the ground floor up to 20 feet from the ground on ladders or platforms of varying sizes.


• The employee may be subjected to noise levels, ranging from low volume to loud and will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices from time to time, which will be provided.


• The employee will be exposed to a variety of household/commercial chemicals that will require the employee to follow company rules/regulations outlined by that SDS.


• All Team Members must wear provided OSHA approved eye protection at all times in manufacturing areas. The employee will be required to wear provided safety eyewear throughout the performance of their duties.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED. Further education preferred, but not required.


• Any skills that fall under Nomad’s IT Core Competencies preferred.


• 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing setting preferred but not required.


• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
