Role Description:
The Test Engineering - Data Intern reports to the Sr Manager - Test Engineering - Data and is responsible for supporting various Data POD teams to perform QA validation. The Intern works closely with all the Test Engineers across different POD teams. The intern is expected to gain in-depth knowledge of 2 to 3 POD teams and support the QA validations as needed. The intern is also expected to learn Automation and support automating the test cases leveraging the existing/available framework.
Core Responsibilities:
Follows all the Test Processes like create and execute test plan, document test cases, Test Results and review with the Product Team as needed
Document issues identified during testing in Azure DevOps (ADO) and follow the Defect Management process to take it to closure
Support the Test Engineers across POD teams to build the regression test suite
Contribute towards regression test automation
Other duties as assigned
What are we looking for?
Must be currently enrolled full-time in technology-related degree program
Individual should be a rising junior (at minimum) when internship begins
Working knowledge in the use of Google Suite products
Project management skills
Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with people at all levels
US work authorization
