About the Role
Redhorse transforms the way government uses data and technology. This IT Inventory Specialist position is critical to the success of our Operational Technology Division (OTD) programs. You will play a key role in managing the logistical aspects of our existing and future digital collection and operational technology systems, ensuring timely and efficient support for critical government initiatives. Your expertise will directly impact the effectiveness and success of our clients’ technology operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct, develop, or perform logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, or evaluating logistical actions to support existing and future digital collection and other operational technology systems within the OTD.
- Work with the Government lead to identify specific requirements for services needed to support OTD program(s) and correlate those requirements with program plans to assure that needed support is provided at the right time and place.
- Complete professional communications (oral and written), prepare presentations, and reports.
- Perform a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of one or more program areas.
- Support the unit with other duties as assigned within the call order scope of work.
Required Experience/Clearance
- 3+ years of experience in IT inventory management or a related field.
- Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate logistical actions in support of IT systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing presentations and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with government clients or in a government contracting environment is preferred.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Desired Experience
- Experience with specific inventory management software or tools.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Project management experience.
- Familiarity with IT asset tracking methodologies.
- Knowledge of IT procurement processes.
