Job Description

EverStaff is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join a prominent client we have in Philadelphia to lead IT department and oversee all aspects of organization's technology infrastructure. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals, as well as planning, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and services. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the IT department, including hiring, training, and supervising IT staff.
Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization's goals and objectives.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data through the implementation of appropriate security measures and best practices.
Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
Collaborate with other departments to assess their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions and support.
Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for their adoption to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
Develop and manage IT budgets, including forecasting and monitoring expenses.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to IT operations and data security.
Serve as a point of contact for IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in IT management, with a minimum of [X] years of experience in a leadership role.
Strong technical knowledge across a range of IT domains, including systems administration, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
Experience with IT project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to IT management and data security (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, GDPR).
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
