Working as IT Manager? Search & Data Science, you will be responsible for managing daily development activities and projects for Enterprise Search & Business Intelligence - Data Science area. You will work closely with the Senior IT Manager and other managers to ensure efficient and effective product delivery in support of business goals and objectives. You will be responsible for planning, estimating, coordinating resources, setting deadlines, and assigning responsibilities while communicating progress on all assigned projects. This includes working closely with portfolio managers, product owners, project managers, and other IT managers to ensure timely application delivery.
1.Managing and overseeing daily development activities to meet service delivery and product requirements 2. Researching and evaluating new technology, techniques, threats and industry best practices to optimize efficiency 3.Performing reviews to ensure quality, compliance with policies, procedures and security requirements 4. Collaborating and partnering with other development teams, architects, product owners and portfolio managers to drive execution of the IT roadmap 5.Ensuring efficient execution of overall product delivery by prioritizing, planning and tracking sprint progress 6.Working with architect teams to procure new tools or software to advance the development ecosystem 7.Working with other team members to establish robust CI/CD tools for product development 8.Using advanced research skills to understand complex industry trends and best practices 9.Recruiting, coaching, managing, mentoring and growing a productive team 10.Leading and motivating a team of employees This position offers an optional partial telecommuting schedule after a period of onboarding, training and meeting performance goals.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 3 years of work experience in software development
Specific skills required: 1.Previous leadership experience 2.Excellent written and oral communication skills 3.Demonstrate strong IT Technical aptitude 4.Demonstrate strong problem solving, deductive reasoning skills and decision making skills 5.Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities 6.Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented 7.Work independently as well as in a team environment 8.Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
