IT Manager

thyssenkrupp integrated its Forging & Machining and Undercarriage businesses to start the new business unit Forged Technologies. With roughly 7,000 employees at 18 production sites in seven different countries, thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies has sales of over one billion euros and operates over 50 forging press lines and more than 150 machining and assembly lines in seven countries. The product portfolio includes undercarriage systems for heavy machinery as well as crankshafts, connecting rods, pistons, chassis products, transmission systems and rotor shafts for the automotive industry.

Duties include:

oversee all IT hardware and software system and day to day transactions
manage customer relationship with outside technical support from IT department
approve changes to standard IT and SAP operations
develop IT and SAP business process flows
develop IT and SAP reports based on management requirements
develop unique IT business solutions with web-based systems solutions; manage security and mobile device policy and addresses infractions
respond to help-desk tickets and ensure delegation of issues
track and report weekly staff meeting metrics
supervise day-to-day work of IT personnel and plan, assign, and distribute work.
Associate's Degree in Information Systems,
Systems Analysis and Development, or closely related field of study, or equivalent foreign degree.
3 years of experience in Software Developer, Web Programmer, IT Integration Specialist, Software Implementation Leader or in a related role.
Must have 3 years of work experience with each of the following working with web-based front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and jQuery, VueJS, NodeJS, Vuetify frameworks to create interactive and engaging user interfaces
working with Node Red, Bootstrap, JSON, VUEJS, and PHP web-based backend frameworks for efficient server-side operations, data management, and dynamic content generation
managing MySQL and MS SQL Server relational databases
working with systems administration, command in-line operations and software installation type functions in UNIX (Ubuntu) and CENTOS operating systems.
