Enterprise Fleet Management Information Technology (EFMIT) provides streamlined and effective solutions to serve our growing operation. We offer solid architectural platforms with a strategic focus that clearly align to business growth and improving the customer experience. The Fleet Management systems, including EDGE, Fleet Commissions, Fleet Web and Autodata, are web based applications built using J2EE technology and are integrated with our PeopleSoft financials system as well as our Oracle BI data warehouse.

This is a 100% remote position.

Responsibilities

EFMIT has an opportunity for Manager. This new position will be responsible for managing the support of operational, tactical, and strategic activities on a day-to-day basis. This person will also determine time and resources needed to complete assignments and lead team members in prioritizing and completing assigned tasks and projects. The Manager will also oversee a team of 4-7 employees, including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews and could oversee a contractor team of 2-10 people. The Manager position develops and maintains procedures that support team activities associated with specific area of expertise or responsibility and leads individuals in adhering to and supporting team procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Must currently reside in one of the following states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IL (Saint Louis Metropolitan Area Only), IN, KS, KY, LA, MO, NC, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WI

Must be authorized to work in the US without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship

Minimum 2 years experience with personnel management or leadership on a technical team, application development team preferred

Minimum 2 years experience managing projects in a large scale computing and/or networking environment

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent is preferred

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and online communications tools

Must have the ability to meet all work from home technical requirements

Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of development management tools such as Jira, Confluence

Experience with the IT/business relationships and interactions

Familiarity with AWS and/or other off-prem infrastructure concepts

Ability to coordinate testing and implementation tasks across multiple teams

Experience with managing a fully remote/dispersed team

Work from Home (WFH) Requirements:

Must have reliable and consistent high-speed internet access provided by a terrestrial cable or fiber provider (no DSL or satellite)

High-speed Internet connection with a minimum validated upload speed of 5Mb and download speed of 25Mb is required. Connection latency must be less than 100ms. (Please validate using a speed test tool such as http://www.speedtest.net/ )
