We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Project Manager with Jira and Agile project management experience to support strategic initiatives across our nonprofit organization. This role will coordinate projects involving operations, technology, programs, communications, and cross-functional teams while helping improve organizational efficiency and accountability.
The ideal candidate is mission-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. This position will report to IT operations manager.

What You’ll Do
Lead and coordinate projects from initiation through completion
Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and status reporting
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
Manage Jira boards, workflows, dashboards, filters, and reporting
Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, consultants, and stakeholders.
Track project risks, dependencies, and action items
Ensure projects remain aligned with organizational priorities and budget expectations
Maintain project documentation and communication plans
Support process improvement initiatives and workflow optimization
Provide leadership updates and reporting for executive stakeholders
Perform other duties as assigned or apparent
Skills & Knowledge We’re Looking For
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
Collaboration and relationship-building across the organization
Strategic thinking & Problem-solving
Time Management: Prioritizes tasks effectively across competing deadlines
Stakeholder Communication: Communicates clearly and professionally with technical and non-technical audience
Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Attention to Details: Demonstrate high level of accuracy and thoroughness when managing project documentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of Project Management experience
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, or Similar) and standard office software
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in IT operations within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, or Agile certification
Hands-on Jira experience including workflow and dashboard management
Experience with Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and O365
Familiarity with grant-funded or donor-supported initiatives
Compensation
Dependent on qualifications and experience, we expect the pay range upon hire for this position will be $85,000 - $90,000 Annually.
