IT SPECIALIST

Position: IT Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our growing team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our company's technology systems and infrastructure. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and other network devices

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity

- Monitor system performance and provide timely resolution of any identified problems

- Maintain and update company's network security systems to ensure data protection and prevent unauthorized access

- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity

- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to improve system efficiency and security

- Train and support end-users on various software applications and systems

- Conduct research and make recommendations for new technology solutions that will improve company's operations

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and provide technical support as needed

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve company's IT infrastructure

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years experience in IT support or related role

- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and security protocols

- Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems

- Experience with virtualization and cloud computing is a plus

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
