IT SPECIALIST

Position: IT Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a leading real estate company in Jonesboro, we are looking for an individual who is passionate about technology and can help us stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain all company hardware and software systems, including computers, servers, and networking equipment

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by employees, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations

- Install and configure new hardware and software as needed

- Monitor and maintain network security, including firewalls and anti-virus software

- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance

- Conduct regular backups of all company data and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for hardware and software upgrades

- Train and assist employees in the use of new technology and software

- Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity

- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role

- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems

- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory

- Knowledge of network security and data backup procedures

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Proven track record of implementing and managing IT projects

- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus.
