IT SPECIALIST

Position: IT Specialist

Dayton Roger's is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. Our company specializes in providing top-notch IT solutions to various clients in the Dayton area. As an IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our company's IT infrastructure and providing technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network equipment

- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolution

- Monitor system performance and ensure all systems are up to date and secure

- Manage user accounts and permissions, including creating and disabling accounts as needed

- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members

- Collaborate with other IT professionals to identify and implement new technologies and solutions

- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures

- Maintain inventory of all hardware and software assets

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for improvement

- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, and hardware components

- Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and data backup solutions

- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plus
