Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (MS Offfice Suite)
• Experience with keyboards, calipers, caliper cables, sensors, computers screens, iPads, and Apple TV’s
• Experience with troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining HACCP & material transactions

Plusses:

• Food industry or manufacturing background
• Experience with Infinity, Redzone, Stations (Dock, Purge & Batch)
• Experience preparing reports and uploading tasks in Basecamp or SharePoint
• Bilingual in Spanish

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is seeking an Automation Clerk to join a large manufacturing company’s automation department in the Fairfield, OH area. The Automation Clerk will be responsible for a wide range of duties aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems. This includes troubleshooting any issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, and optimizing the use of automation to improve efficiency. This individual’s responsibilities include calibrating, replacing, and maintaining thermometers and scales, as well as troubleshooting, cleaning, and maintaining all hardware. The Automation Clerk will also be tasked with correcting any errors in infinity and material transactions, monitoring data entries, and replacing necessary equipment such as keyboards, calipers, cables, computer screens, iPads, and Apple TVs. They will also ensure the correct and consistent maintenance of HACCP and material transactions, clean all automation equipment, and prepare reports and tasks in Basecamp. Additionally, this individual will be expected to train in all aspects of the Automation Department and pass tests to reach Levels 1, 2, and 3. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes.
