YOUR POSITION:

IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist you will provide the technical assistance and support to ensure the smooth operation of an organization’s computer systems, hardware, software, and networks. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and assisting end-users with system-related inquiries. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

YOUR DUTIES:

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Take ownership of day-to-day IT tasks (on-site and remote), handling joiners, movers and leavers
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals.
• Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory or similar systems
• Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Assist with IT infrastructure projects, including hardware upgrades and software deployments.
• Maintain detailed documentation of support requests, resolutions, and IT processes.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.
• Work closely together with both the Engineering and People team to identify and resolve any IT support needs.
• Train and guide end-users on technology use and best practices.
• Collaborate with other IT team members and escalate complex issues as needed.
