You will serve as a conduit for demand and resource management, balancing people and budgets towards desired outcomes. You are responsible for business and regulatory compliance activities for the services worldwide. \n\nResponsibilities: \n\n * Provide day\u2011to\u2011day project oversight, execution, and operational leadership.\n\n * Deliver technology vision, strategy, and direction for supported services.\n\n * Maintain OLA and SLA agreements with Micron Business Units and ensure alignment.\n\n * Sustain strong global collaboration with internal and external Micron IT operations teams.\n\n * Partner with Enterprise Architects to develop and carry out capability roadmaps.\n\n * Drive service improvements by reviewing contracts, vendor offerings, upgrades, quotes, and cost/benefit analyses.\n\n * Lead continuous improvement through policies and processes for monitoring, measurement, reporting, and enhancing service/component availability.\n\n * Oversee budget and cost centers, manage talent development (mentoring, coaching, succession planning, retention), and support \u003c10% domestic/international travel.\n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.\n\n * 5 years of leadership experience managing on\u2011premise Enterprise Hardware Compute teams.\n\n * Hands-on technical background across Unix, Windows, VMware, and enterprise hardware compute systems.\n\n * 10 years of experience building and leading geographically distributed teams.\n\n * Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels, with advanced knowledge of ITIL disciplines.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Technical knowledge on the following technologies: \n\n * Private Cloud and/or Red Hat OpenShift Container management platform or similar Kubernetes like system \n\n * Citrix App and Desktop virtualization or similar technology\n\n * Windows Server and Active Directory\n\n * VMWare virtualization platform\n\n * HP, Dell, Cisco, Lenovo, etc. server hardware platforms\n\n * Enterprise Storage solutions\n\n\n\n * Experience in Public Cloud infrastructure\n\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nIT Manager 2\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
