IT Analyst
Role Profile
Position Summary: The IT Analyst is an exempt role that reports to the IT Manager. The IT Analyst supports day-to-day technology operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and desktop support. This role will be part of a high-performing IT team with a strong sense of customer service. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Intune/MDM, Cisco Meraki, and is familiar with security tools. POS and API integration experience are nice to have.

Key Accountabilities & Achievements:
End User Support
- Provide first and second-line technical support to end users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues to agreed SLA targets.
- Deliver clear technical guidance and documentation to improve user self-sufficiency and reduce recurring incidents.
Hardware Deployment
- Coordinate the imaging, configuration, and deployment of end user devices including laptops, desktops, and peripherals in line with organizational standards.
- Maintain accurate hardware records within the asset management system to support audits and refresh planning.
Technology Asset Maintenance
- Manage the full lifecycle of technology assets from procurement to decommissioning, ensuring compliance with data disposal and internal policies.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance across the technology estate, proactively identifying issues before they impact operations.
Software & Project Deployment
- Support the rollout of business applications, managing software licensing, patch management, and version control to ensure compliance and stability.
- Contribute to IT project delivery by providing technical input and coordinating deployment activities against agreed timelines.
Cybersecurity
- Monitor security alerts and support incident response, conducting root cause analysis and implementing controls to prevent recurrence.
- Promote security awareness across the business through staff training, phishing simulations, and policy communications.
Knowledge, Abilities & Experience for Success:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience.
- 2+ years' experience in a support role.
- Experience managing Cisco Meraki switches and Firewalls or similar.
- Experience in deploying Intune packages along with MDM and similar tools.
- Experience with utilizing and deployment of Security tools (Defender and similar).
- Experience as a Microsoft Azure AD/Entra.
- ERP Experience a plus (Business central, Sage, or similar).
- Experience with POS system administration.
- Inventory/ Warehouse management systems.
- 1+ years in azure engineering working with AVM and VM’s.
- Experience with Windows 11 and Mac OS.
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License and submit to MVR checks upon hire and annually thereafter.
- Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and self-report any infractions that may affect driving eligibility.
- Nice to have any of the following AZ-104, SC-200/300, MS-102, or MCP certificates.
- Nice to have experience with Celigo, MuleSoft, MS API management, Power automate, python, SQL, or similar API integration tools.
- Nice to have experience with VitalSource.
Physical Demands:
- Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
- Continuous sitting, standing, walking, using stairs, hearing, talking, bending, crouching, and working closely with others.
- Exerting up to 50 pounds (up to 100 pounds via dolly) of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Work Environment:
- Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
- Moderate noise (examples: business offices with computers and printers, light traffic).
- Indoor and outdoor work environment with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather.
- Hours of work are Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends during busy times.
