Opening with our client for an IT Support Analyst.
For this role, the IT Support analyst is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to employees for a range of hardware and software related systems.
Responsibilities
- Provides in-person technical assistance to employee end users
- Respond to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support.
- Troubleshoot a range of user problems including PC hardware, software, LAN and voice network
- Diagnose problem source through discussions with users and coordinate with internal IT organization support and operations groups and/or with vendors to resolve problems
- Acquire, install, and upgrade PC components and software and plann for/respond to service outages and other problems
- Train users on use of new technology and software
- Perform pro-active monitoring of computer systems through appropriate tools.
- Documents, tracks, and monitors problems to ensure timely resolutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
- Entry level technical support experience
- Strong interaction and interpersonal skills specifically listening and providing guidance,
- Strong analytical abilities to quickly resolve technical problems, evaluate alternative approaches and to recommend the most feasible and economical solutions.
- Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to document operations procedures
