Description of Duties:
The IT Team Coordinator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
⢠Directly support the Missile Defense Space Enterprise Architecture (MDSEA) team.
⢠Be a central figure in guiding the functional teams in managing roadmap objectives, while helping to implement and refine our Agile practices.
⢠Work closely with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and various functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
This position is focused on developing emerging professional growth and empowering teams, clearing obstacles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities Include:
Agile & Scrum Facilitation:
⢠Facilitate Scrum activities, including Sprint Planning and Sprint Reviews.
Team & RTE Support:
⢠Support and assist the Release Train Engineer (RTE) with processes and systems necessary for Backlog administration, Program Increment Planning and Reviews, and Standups.
⢠Support Roadblock Removal:
⢠Proactively identify, track, and help remove any roadblocks or impediments that could hinder the team's progress, shielding them from external distractions.
Coaching & Mentoring:
⢠Act as a coach for the Agile team, promoting an environment of open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect.
⢠Encourage a mindset of continuous improvement.
Communication & Reporting:
⢠Ensure transparent communication between the development team, product owners, and other stakeholders.
⢠Help track and visualize team progress and performance metrics.
Project Coordination:
⢠Partner with Project Managers, matrixed resources, and multiple functional teams to support the successful delivery of projects according to customer expectations and roadmap timelines.
Data & Dashboards:
⢠Analyze and display data sets for a wide audience.
⢠Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to include a project planning roadmap dashboard showing project schedules and progress, resource allocation, project backlog, and project prioritization.
Collaboration:
⢠Work collaboratively with internal technical teams and external customers.
Tool Utilization:
⢠Work with the Product Owners/technical teams to ensure accurate reflection of the backlog and current goals in the project management tools.
⢠Utilize project planning tools including Microsoft Teams, Planner, Project, Jira and/or Gitlab or other MDA\-approved tools.
Onsite support:
⢠Monday\-Friday with flexible hours between 7 AM and 4 PM, for a bi\-weekly total of 80 hours.
Support Business Ops (approximately 20%):
⢠Acting as an alternate to the Business Operations manager
⢠On\-board and Off\-board personnel, following processes established by the organization.
⢠Use personnel systems, to include account creation and seating logistics.
⢠Assist with morale building efforts, to include supply replenishment and event organization.

Requirements
Basic Requirements:
⢠Must have 2, or more, years of directly related experience with cross team collaboration
⢠Experience managing on\-boarding and off\-boarding of personnel within an organization.
⢠Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
⢠Must be able to obtain an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
⢠Have a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
⢠A basic understanding of or strong interest in learning Agile and Scrum methodologies.
⢠Have exposure to or experience supporting Program Increment (PI) Planning events.
⢠Be familiar with core Scrum Master principles.
⢠Have experience in a role that required coordination between multiple teams or departments.
⢠Be familiar with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Gitlab).
⢠Have experience managing resources between functional teams while supporting shared resource needs.
