IT Technician

Summary:

Under the direction of the IT Manager, coordinates local area computer network activities.

Specific DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists IT Director in maintaining network user environment, directories, and security.

Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs.

Updates the operating systems as required.

Completes minor computer hardware repairs.

Loads and updates software applications as required.

Manages usage of the network, network printing, and network technical resources.

Maintains a backup of all files, security, and rights.

Education and/or Experience:

1 to 2 years’ experience with accounting, gaming, and Microsoft Office software preferred

A+ Certification preferred

Network+ Certification preferred
