Job Summary:

The ITSM Systems Analyst recommends approaches for the configuration and customization of the ITSM platforms by interacting with business partners and IT leadership. By developing technical specifications, the ITSM Systems Analyst will clearly articulate an approach to meet business goals. In order to accomplish this goal they act as a liaison between vendors, technical staff and the business partners. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the IT Change Advisory Board (CAB), acting as the Ivanti and TeamDynamics (TDX) business analyst, and providing system configuration and customization for Ivanti and TDX.
Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:
Translates business needs into technical requirements and work with the Ivanti/TDX development team to implement solutions.
Identifies opportunities to optimize and enhance existing Ivanti/TDX processes and workflows for improved efficiency and user experience.
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. (Under general direction)
Exercises analytical techniques when gathering information from users, defining work problems, designing a system of computer programs, and developing procedures to resolve the problems.
Develops and modifies complex systems and develops subsystems to enhance the overall operational system.
Reviews task proposal requirements, gathers information, analyzes data, prepares project synopsis, compares alternatives, outlines specifications for programs, resolves processing problems, coordinates work with programmers, and orients users to new systems.
Works on routine systems analysis activities with instruction and guidance in only the most complex activities.
Assists with Ivanti/TDX administration tasks, including user management, access control, and system configurations, ensuring data integrity and security is paramount.
Monitors Ivanti/TDX performance and address any technical issues or incidents that may arise in collaboration with the IT operations team.
Supports the maintenance of Ivanti/TDX modules, integrations, and third-party applications.
Creates and maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures, process flows, and system configurations related to ITSM and Ivanti/TDX.
Generates regular reports on change management performance, Ivanti/TDX utilization, and incident trends, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Stays up to date with industry best practices, ITSM methodologies, and Ivanti/TDX updates to recommend process improvements and ensure compliance with ITIL principles.
Participates in process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall IT service delivery.
Facilitates and leads change management calls, ensuring proper planning, review, and approval of all proposed changes to IT systems and services.
Acts as a liaison between IT teams, stakeholders, and end-users to elicit and analyze business requirements related to Ivanti/TDX configurations and functionalities.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2 plus years of experience as an ITSM Analyst, Change Management Specialist, or Systems Analyst.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developing and executing training plans for ITSM processes.
Experience identifying areas of improvement within IT Service Management processes.
Experience with automation and orchestration tools for ITSM.
ITIL or Ivanti / TDX certifications.
