Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, LLC (SIMCO), managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Regulatory Reporting and Implementation Verification Review (IVR) Programs Coordinator (Contractor Assurance Specialist/Staff Specialist) and join our team located in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
As the Regulatory Reporting and IVR Programs Coordinator, the successful candidate will fill a key role in the Contractor Assurance Department, a dynamic and agile team of approximately 20 professionals who enable success of the WIPP mission by assisting line organizations in preventing, detecting, and correcting undesirable outcomes in work execution though application of forward leaning processes that define the Contractor Assurance System (CAS) and Regulatory Assurance Program.
The Contractor Assurance Department includes three teams: CAS Integration, CAS Operations, and Regulatory Assurance. The successful candidate will join the Regulatory Assurance team reporting to the Regulatory Assurance Manager. The Regulatory Assurance team is responsible for regulatory compliance, enforcement, and external oversight coordination through implementation of processes guiding:

Exempt grade level(s) 33-34. Salary range: $105,312 to $172,368 per year --the specific salary offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors, particularly the candidate’s relevant experience and education.
