Jam - Line Cook

Jam! is looking for motivated, dependable, and experienced line cooks to join our fast-paced breakfast and lunch kitchen in downtown Bozeman.

We're a high-volume restaurant that takes pride in serving quality food, working efficiently, and creating a positive team environment. We're looking for cooks who enjoy a busy kitchen, take ownership of their stations, and understand the importance of consistency, communication, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and execute breakfast and lunch dishes according to Jam's recipes, presentation standards, and quality expectations.
• Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Operate multiple stations, including eggs, grill, flat top, fry, and cold side, as trained.
• Communicate clearly with the expo and fellow cooks to maintain smooth service and timely ticket execution.
• Complete opening, closing, stocking, and cleaning responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation.
• Follow established recipes, portion standards, and kitchen procedures.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, professional kitchen culture.
• Take initiative, accept feedback, and continuously improve your skills.

What We're Looking For

• Previous line cook experience preferred; breakfast or high-volume restaurant experience is a plus.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail and commitment to consistent food quality.
• Willingness to learn new stations and follow established procedures.
• Positive attitude and respect for coworkers.
• Availability for early morning shifts (5:30am) and weekends.
