American Concrete Products is a leading manufacturer of quality concrete products for various industries. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Janitor/Custodian to join our team located in West Dallas to start immediately.

SHIFT: 6AM-2:30PM MONDAY-THURSDAY(FRIDAYS MAY BE REQUIRED IN THE FUTURE)

Custodian duties and responsibilities

Under the direction of the production supervisor, the janitor will perform routine building cleaning, including trash removal, sweeping, and replacement of restroom supplies. In addition, must have some equipment experience such as sit down forklift or Bobcat experience. Must have ability to work with other crew members and take direction from supervisor, must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job duties. Some additional duties may include but not limited to:

• Sweeping breakroom, bathroom, and work areas
• Daily bathroom deep cleaning
• Picking up construction material trash around the work areas
• Emptying trash cans
• Changing air filters and cleaning vents
• Maintaining a thorough inventory of cleaning supplies
• Using equipment such as a bobcat or Dollie to pick up heavy items and trash
• Collecting and taking out trash to dumpster

Physical Setting:

• Outdoor work
• Warehouse

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Year round work

• Forklift or Bobcat experience a plus!

• Must be able to work in an outdoor setting in all weather conditions

• Ability to lift and move at least 50-60 pounds with ease

• Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces

• Comfortable wearing steel toed shoes during entire shift.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

The applicant will be required to do a pre-employment drug screen and background check, post offer.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Pay: $17.00 per hour
