Janitor

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment within the Cibo Vita food manufacturing facility in Madison, ensuring compliance with all food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

·  Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, floors, walls, and other surfaces in accordance with Cibo Vita's sanitation protocols.

·       Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility.

·       Clean and stock restrooms and break rooms.

·       Perform sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing of floors.

·       Strictly follow all safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) established by Cibo Vita.

·       Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed.

·       Assist with other cleaning tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

·       Ability to follow instructions accurately.

·       Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

·       Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

·       Prior cleaning experience, especially in a food manufacturing environment, is a plus.
