Janitor

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for our office in Perth Amboy, NJ. This position requires approximately 2 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize office areas, restrooms, and common spaces


• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors


• Dust and wipe down desks, countertops, and other surfaces


• Clean interior windows and glass surfaces


• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners


• Restock restroom supplies as needed


• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility


• Report any maintenance or repair issues to management


• Follow all safety procedures and cleaning protocols

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required


• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently


• Strong attention to detail and reliability


• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform routine physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking


• Dependable transportation and punctual attendance
