The Opportunity

The Janitor will maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment within the bank premises. This includes cleaning and sanitizing designated areas of the bank, such as offices, restrooms, lobbies, and meeting rooms. The Janitor will ensure that the bank's facilities are well-maintained and presentable for customers and employees. Cleaning would take place outside of 9 AM to 4 PM. The Janitor will work approximately 20 hours a week, with an opportunity to grow in responsibility and increase hours.

Count On To:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, counter tops, mirrors, and floors.


• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in designated areas of the bank.


• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.


• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.


• Spot clean walls


• Clean windows, partitions and doors, mirrors, and outside of refrigerator.


• Wipe down leather chairs


• Replenish toilet paper, soap, and paper towels


• Spot clean glass and sanitize handrail of staircase


• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored. Order supplies as needed.


• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor


• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning tasks.
  

Knowledge And Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.


• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.


• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.


• Ability to pass a background check and adhere to the bank's security policies.
