Janitor (1st Shift)

National Star Services, a facility management company with over 27 years of experience, offers a diverse range of nationwide services. We are currently seeking a trustworthy individual for a Janitorial role at a Chicago museum.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of all areas within the facility to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
• Dust and wipe down all horizontal surfaces, including ledges, furniture, fixtures, and wall-mounted items.
• Sweep, wet mop, and damp mop all hard and wood flooring in accordance with proper cleaning procedures.
• Vacuum all carpeted areas and ensure stairwells are clean, safe, and free of debris.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms on all floors and replenishment of supplies.
• Provide occasional support to the Building Manager on minor facility maintenance tasks and special projects.

Work Schedule: Thursday to Sunday
From 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (32 hours total)

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour | Paid Bi-Weekly

Requirements:
- Must have two updated valid forms of IDs.
- Commercial and/or Residential cleaning experience.
- Background check will be conducted.
- Have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
- Must be able to start working as soon as possible.
- Due to client specifications, proficiency in both English and Spanish is required for this role.
