Your role as Janitorial is critical in maintaining our machine shop's cleanliness and organization, reflecting our company's values. Your responsibilities will include:

• Sweeping and mopping

• Exchanging and monitoring coolant tank systems

• Trash removal

• Bathroom cleaning

• Operating a floor scrubber

• General shop duties

Compensation:

• Starting at $18 per hour with overtime pay after 40 hours.

The Location:

Moeller Precision Tool is centrally located within the Metro Detroit area, offering a 45-minute commute from Ann Arbor or Troy, Michigan. You'll have access to various local restaurants for lunch, easy I-96 access, and nearby apartment options.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, including bags of trash, cleaning supplies, and equipment, weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Endurance for extended periods of standing, walking, and performing physical tasks.

• Fine motor skills for tasks that require attention to detail, such as cleaning intricate machine parts.

• Agility to navigate through the shop floor, including bending, kneeling, and reaching to clean various areas, as well as flexibility to access tight spaces for thorough cleaning.

• Tolerance to exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals used in janitorial tasks, following proper safety guidelines.

• Adaptability to work in different environmental conditions, including temperature variations and exposure to noise.

• High school education or G.E.D.

Schedule:

• Schedule is 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with shifts lasting 8-10 hours, Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays. Overtime is required.
